What is everyone getting for their BMS? What is the best BM gift you ever got? I don't want something "generic" but can't think of anything good!

For the only wedding I have been in I got a pearl bracelet with a charm with my initial on it. I actually just wore it again this week. I haven't decided what I'm getting my MOH. This has been hard for me. I think I am going to get she and I matching pashminas for the wedding day. She and I both wear scarves all the time, so I know she will wear it again. My MOH loves hot tea, so I have thought about getting her an assortment of teas and maybe a giftcard to a bookstore since she loves to read.
Do your BMS have a hobby they really enjoy? Can you get them each something that relates to a hobby?

I am getting them, very beautiful Murano jewelry sets. Something else different for each one of them other than the tote bags. I am thinking about to get them something else but I don't want to give anything that is common, so I will play along with one of them; one loves clothes (gift certificate from a store), other shoes (DSW), other tea and books (will do like Deregniern, imported tea can), other love scarfs and my FDIL loves shopping as all teenagers (Forever 21). So these on top of of the personalised flip fops and tote, I think will be very good. They will love it!!!

I was thinking about giving them flip flops, a monogrammed beach towel, and then doing some sort of personalized "Thank You" picture book with several pictures of all of us? Does the picture book sound dumb? I was thinking about making it on shutterfly...

Are you going to do the picture book before or after the wedding? I think it would be cool if you did it after the wedding so that you could include photos from the wedding day too. Either way, I think it sounds like a cute idea.

I'm getting mine each something like I would do for their birthday's. One of my MOH is getting a new planner, and another is going to get a new stethoscope. They are all getting Totes, and then a picture with their names made from Everyday items!

I am giving my bridesmaids jewelry I am making them - but it is for them to wear on the wedding day, then each are getting a little makeup bag that will have a little lotion and spray from Victoria's Secret. I bought the lotions during semi-annual sale time and they were around $1 each so I couldn't pass up! Then I think since all of that is pretty 'matchy' each bridesmaids will get a nice picture frame (I'll try to make these different and to each person's style) that I will put a note in that says 'thank you' and then I will supply them a picture of the two of us from wedding day.

I agree with medusia, get them something you would get them for their birthday. I am thinking of getting my girls a bag of "things we love to do together". So, it is unique to all of them and still special and from the heart. It should say thank you and something they can use well beyond your wedding day. I am tossing around the idea or paying for their hair because they are all getting it done, but that might be a game time (how much money we have left) kind of decision! I am excited to buy the gifts!

I ended up ordering custom-made jewelry from DaLis Designs via Etsy and absolutely LOVED it. All 6 of my bridesmaids will be getting a pair of earrings, and my Matron & Maid of Honor will each get a bracelet to go with their earrings. They came in individual pouches, which are also really neat.

I plan to get them each something personal, too. I totally agree with finding something you'd get them for their birthday--didn't look at it that way before, but that helps a ton!

They have done so much for me throughout all this planning, and I'm excited to thank them for everything :-)
