E-pics and vent

We got some pictures back!!! But before those I have a little vent. So, we LOVED this photographer and his price was by far the lowest for the quality and since we are on a strict budget this was great! Well he called today, after saying that he would let us know before he talked to anyone about our date, because we were working on getting a check from my parents and he told us that someone booked our date and put the deposit down already, so basically we are starting over from square one. I was already feeling like I was behind and now I am just feeling completely overwhelmed. Okay.... Vent over.... So, here are some of my favorites of the pictures.

That is awful that he said he'd let you know first if someone else was interested especially since he already did your e-pics and then he went ahead and let another couple book him for the same day. I'd be furious. I'm sorry

LOVE the e-pics - especially the last one!!

What happened to you also happened to me with the DJ we were planning on booking. We had a verbal agreement but hadn't signed a contract yet. He let me know on a Sunday night that someone else had expressed interest, and I told him I'd get a check and book him that week. The next night he said the other couple had given him a check that day and he was now booked. We still haven't settled on a DJ because I hadn't even been looking at any others up to that point because the guy was a friend so I didn't bother shopping around.

The pics look absolutely adorable. My favorite is the last one. Looks like you had a blast. And I too am sorry to hear about your photographer. This is a lesson for all of us not to "trust" our vendors on a handshake and their word.
