  Our DJ was very decent - Sidney from DeeJays Etc.  Under $500.
  
  One thing I would change, is I would spend more time with him.  Things just got so crazy as the day got closer that I just let him kind of do his "thing"...  He's very classic/popular with his choices of songs, and I wanted a few different things played... but they got played at funny times during the reception, which I thought was weird.  Also, I hate that song sweet caroline (sorry!), and he played it.
  
  So, all that said, I think he could be a very good DJ for under $500, if you or your sister has time to really think about her music, and what she wants to hear.
  
  I know there are other inexpensive DJs that other girls here have used, and they have been very pleased.

  I used DJ Joey Dee from mixology entertainment.  He is based out of Johnston and spins at clubs in Providence. I paid $800 and he was worth every penny.  I did not stop dancing all night!  Good song after good song, and he mixes as well so that was SO fun!!  Love him!  His email is mixologyentertainment@cox.net
