Rehearsal Dinner hosted by Bride and Groom

I need help with wording on the invitation!  Normally the grooms parents host the rehearsal dinner, but to avoid the hassle, my fiance and I are hosting it. Any suggestions??

"Please join us for dinner following the rehearsal at ***..."

    Don't overthink it.

Ditto above... No need to overthink it. No one will question that there is not a 'hosted by' on the rehearsal dinner invitation.  Actual inviations aren't even requred for rehearsal dinner.  I have been invited to one just via e-mail, letting us know the time and place. Didn't think anything of that either, just showed up!

I am in the same boat. I got cheap little invites that states, For and Given by. So do I put for us and given by us or should I put for Friends and family given by the bride and groom. Any thoughts???
  • Best advice ever!  I've been totally overthinking it and those three words sure did put my  mind at ease! I think I should use that as my motto on my wedding day!
