XP: Second Line Band?

Has anyone seen a Second Line band used to lead the bride and groom from the ceremony to the site for (pre-reception) formal photos?  If so, how did it work?

    So they would just lead the wedding party and not the guests? We second lined around the quarter for 30 minutes while my reception site wasa flipped.

    I've seen it done; but never without the rest of the guests. I guess if you were having a huge wedding party it might work to do it w/o the guests...,but otherwise it's not much of a second line if just you and FI are following around a jazz band.  

    It's an absolute blast to do it with guests though.

    No, it's usually not done with "just" the wedding party.

    I'm going to third the suggestion to include ALL the guests in the second line.  Why deprive them of the fun!! Smile  

    I'm curious as to where this is 'cross-posted'....who else would know about second lines other than in Louisiana???  Wink
