Portsmouth Area Ceremony Sites

Is anyone familiar with "Common Island "? My understanding is that you can't reserve this site for your ceremony, but the day before the wedding you can put your stuff out..Tent, chairs etc..Sounds way to risky to me, however the rec dept said, "it's never been a problem". Beautiful location. I would love input of other NH brides experience.

    I had a friend who got married on the Common.  They just did the ceremony there...we all showed up and everyone stood.  It is a beautiful site but expect there to be a lot of other families/kids there!  :)

    Thank You for letting me know about the kids and families, we will consider another location. Were thinking about the Wentworth Country Club for our ceremony and reception, we have an appointment to check it out. Expensive...
