Next thing is a photographer...any suggestions?? Our budget isn't huge but I think it's reasonable, hoping for a photographer under $3000. Is that reasonable??
John loconte for me, he's well under your budget but there's definitely plenty you can choose from with that budget. I always love looking at garone photography, a photographic memory and Elizabeth bradfords work
Catharine Morris is great, and also within your budget We just did our engagement photos a few weeks ago, and I love them; I can't wait to get the disk so I can share. Caty is great to work with!
We are using Alexandra Roberts. She's fantastic and I found her package to be quite reasonable. We are paying $2500, and for that we get unlimited time on the wedding day, a disc with all our images, and a mock-photobooth for which she'll be bringing an assistant at the reception (we're setting up a pipe-and-drape area with funny props and her assistant will snap the pics).
We're using William T. Moore Photography, (his studio is on Rt. 101 in the Bedford Village Shops, just down the street from the Modern Bride). If you go to the link, click on the pic in the center to get to the rest of his information. http://www.williammoorephoto.com/#
We just booked Portrait New England. Beautiful photography and very reasonable for what you get- my package is $2500 with albums and an engagement session.
I would totally suggest Amanda Perkins, she did our engagement photos and is also doing our wedding. She is AWESOME and well under your budget!!! Not only does she take great pictues but she is awesome to work with...
Hey, my girlfriend just got married and she used NH Images from Nashua, NH.....you should def try them they were so awesome im def using them for my own wedding!
What are you looking for in the package? I think it depends on what kind of photography you're looking for too. Our budget is 3,000 and I have only found a few that I'm looking at. I come from a family of photographers, so I know exactly what I am looking for. So far I like Steve Holmes, Allison McGrail and Shawn Tomkinson. The others like Ron Kolias are far out of reach.
We used A Photographic Memory as well and loved how flexible they were with us!
Regardless of who you go with, you can always skip the album in a package as long as the photographer gives you digital rights to your photos. There are so many amazing photo services now that you can create your own albums with on the cheap! While the professional albums are nice, they come with a price.
We're using Brett Alison - totally in your budget and does fab photos. Just got our engagement photos done and they're awesome! Also try www.wpja.com - where photographers are a dime a dozen, this website helped me weed out the professionals from some of the potential non-professionals.
William T. Moore Photography is Bedford! He is super nice & wants to please you and his packages start at less then $1,000!!!! Sometimes with the cheaper photographers, I felt like it showed in their pictures but not with him!!!
