The holiday weekenders...

Were a pretty special brand of stupid.   My head hurts from reading some of those posts.

Anyway, our weekend was pretty good.  It was windy as all get out.  And I had a pretty bad allergy attack on Sunday night.  Other than that, we really enjoyed ourselves and had a ton of fun with the family.  How was your holiday weekend?

Mine was really nice.  I spent a lot of time Saturday out shopping and getting my hair done.  Saturday Mr. Arb and I went to see Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (which was excellent by the way) with some friends, and yesterday we wandered around Annapolis for a few hours.  I played around with my new camera for a bit while we were down there, testing out some of the different settings.

I also found out that I got an A in the class I took over summer, so that was a nice bonus.

Wzz-Yes, I did get a chance to relax and it was nice.  I think I said to DH at one point that I felt the least stressed I'd felt in about a month.

    Crazy, but relaxing.

We drove up to WI on Saturday after watching the Hawkeyes eat EI-EIU alive.  Camping was a trip.  No running water, no flush toilets.  Just a bucket, hand sanitizer and the MS river.

The dogs enjoyed it, but a little too much because they both have "issues" now and I'm here at work worrying about how they're doing.

My weekend was cool. Did a lot of chillin' w/ DH. Had various visitors Saturday, Sunday and yesterday. Glad to be home alone today, though. I have a cute story from my weekend, too.

My weekend was ridiculous....out til 4am friday/saturday morning....wedding sat. night, boating all day sunday.   I did nothing yesterday I was so exhausted.

I will re-cap the wedding today or tomorrow (forgot my camera today, may need to illustrate the BM dress fail), is was very nice, but had some massive side eye parts.

I spent most of the weekend on the couch.  I screwed up my back during the post-Earl beach clean-up, so I was out of commission until yesterday.  It was a less than exciting long weekend.

Not much here.  I was ready to kill DH last night though.  He's been pissing around signing his life insurance policy.  He swore he'd do it this weekend so at 9 last night he decides to look at it.  Then he proceeds to ask me a million and one questions.  It's HIS policy.  I didn't read it.  I passed on every e-mail about it.  Read the effing things and figure it out.

Let's just say it's a good thing he wasn't insured yet or he would have been dead.

Lots of driving, but it was a great weekend.  Middle sis and I went to Memphis to see a show our friend directed, and it was HI-larious.  (Search Sister Myotis on YouTube for a sample.)  Caught up with him and his partner at brunch on Sunday before the show, went to the zoo on Monday, and stopped and visited with him and his mom on Monday on the way back to Atlanta.  Good times all around.

I cleaned the house and rearranged the kitchen - of course, now I have no place to put some stuff, so I may have to re-rearrange.

Also went to the eye doctor because I've had a lot more headaches lately than normal. Turns out I have astigmatism and slight near-sightedness, and I'm getting glasses. Weird. I've been trying to limit my computer time to short bursts, and that's helped the headaches, but I can't wait for those specs to come in.
