I am dead tired today and leaving at 6 AM tomorrow for my honeymoon, but I just wanted to stop in quickly with an update. I am now officially a MRS. - yay!!!
Saturday was the most amazing day of my life. My husband and I cannot stop talking about how incredibly lucky we are to have the amazing family and friends that we have. Everything exceeded my expectations and we have gotten so many compliments from all our guests saying I looked like Barbie, haha, and it was the most amazing wedding they've been to and they loved all of the details (which I mostly have the wonderful Knotties here to thank for all of the great ideas for the fun extras).
One of the most amazing moments was actually a total surprise for me but so awesome. My DH arranged w/his buddies to line a wheel barrell with white velour and pillows and decorate with tin cans. Right as our last dance (
bluegrass version of Don't Stop Believin') ended, it showed up in the middle of the dancefloor and I jumped in and was whisked away as everyone laughed and cheered. By then my feet were killing me, so it really was the perfect ending to a perfect day!
I will post an incredibly long and detailed recap when I get back to London next week, but for now, here's just a few pics I have from friends on FB.
