*kthame*

I am just starting P90X too. I did a couple sessions before we went on vacation in January, but now am getting back into it. I did the plyometrics for the first time last night and pretty much died. I am so sore today.

Ok, no idea what just happened to what I was writing...

P90x is AMAZING!!! I just finished my 1st week...tonight is my X-Stretch/Rest night so I'm really looking forward to it! Are you doing the Classic version?

Yeah I think so. I am doing it with my DH and a friend in our basement. Its good motivation to be doing it with 2 boys.

I also think Tony Horton is also quite hilarious though usually unitentionally!

Ya, ,it's funny...because I did this before, I can predict the cheesy things he'll be saying "Crispy Cremes BAAAAD".

There are three guys I work with that do the workouts on P90x, but they don't go by the book (the schedule of how you're supposed to do it), which baffles me, because the entire point is muscle confusion.

Plyo is my LEAST favorite...I did it a few weeks ago just to remind my body of what it's in for, and for the two days after, walking down stairs was ridiculous. I had to go step-by-step and slooooowly.

I'm also following the nutrition guide (along with FI) so it's a lot of cooking, but the meals are really good! My FI did the straight 90 days before (I stopped at like 60 because I returned from AUS and had so much going on)...he lost 25lbs. and was RIPPED! I really didn't think I could be *hotter* for him. BOY was I wrong!

I am sort of following the nutrition guide. We're going a little off book here and there but following the general principles of nutrition that he has laid out.

I was also reallly surprised how much I liked his workout recovery drink.

OMG, that's my FAVORITE part of working out! That recovery drink is FANTASTIC!!!

I blend it with 12oz. water, 1 cup of ice and it's HEAVEN! :)
