What do the Colors Mean??

So I was doing my seating chart... using the knot seating chart...

Some of my people are blue some are green and some are Red.

Would anyone happen to know what the different colors mean?? I tried to figure it out but I'm stumped...

Re: What do the Colors Mean??

  • All I know/have heard is that using TK seating chart or any other TK planning tool is a bad, bad idea.

    I used Excel for my guest list, for RSVP tracking, and for the seating chart. It worked perfectly.
    Due 10/21/13 with our first baby BabyFruit Ticker
  • Red = woman
    Blue = man
    Green = you didn't mark it on the guest list.

    But ya, in general don't use TK's features if you need to count on them being available on a given day.

  • OH okay... Thanks everyone.  Everything is already done in excel... Espeically the budgeting...but I just thought the seating chart thing was rather cool.  LOL...

    Once I fill it out i will be sure to back that up with excel.  Or print it immediately.

    But I do have other back-ups as The Knot is my secondary planing tool.

    Thanks again everyone!!!

  • I used it and didn't have trouble, but I did print it out whenever I made changes. And then my guests moved around and sat wherever they wanted. Oh well.
  • We didnt do a seating chart but left the two front tables as reserved for parents and grand parents, everyone else sat whereveer they wanted. I think its much nicer that way.. and way less confusing.. I could never determine who should sit where and why bob has to sit with jim when jim needs to sit with suzy but suzy would rather sit with joe... We made a sign that said " As two families become one, we ask that you choose a seat not a side" we are still getting compliments.
