I just got pricing info for Holland Gardens on Angola. I like it because we can have wedding ceremony and reception all in one place. Does anyone have any experience here? Or has anyone heard anything about this place? The prices seem pretty reasonable.

My future mother in law and father in law got married there and they loved it.... but that was like 25 years ago.

I have heard mixed reviews on the quality of food. It's never been terrible though, always ranging from great to ok.

Have you seen it yet? It's actually a nice space with a lot of room to decorate and they are really good about letting you spruce it up. It's actually still on our list of potential halls as well. They don't have any weddings booked until May, but they'll let you come in then and see it jazzed up for a wedding.

We looked at this place and utlimately ended up choosing Cambridge Place, but I do remember that it had a really pretty outdoor area and it looked like a space that would be really easy to jazz up. Not sure about the food though.

I'm having my reception at Angola Gardens, their smaller hall down the road. I've never been inside of it (planning long distance, parents found it for me). The food tasting day for all the couples with weddings there this summer is on April 2. So.... I'm completely unhelpful! We found it through a friend of my mom's who had her reception there and loved it but that was like 10-15 years ago...
