hi brides past and present -
i am really need of some help...
i need a limo company -
we are looking for 3 vehicles -
i feel like i have called every company in the state and they either want $$ upfront with no paperwork or contract, prices are too high, or their customer service has been terrible and i don't feel comfortable using them...

i would ultimately like - limo for about 8 ppl, suv or car for 6 ppl, and a 2 passenger - either vintage car or luxury sedan...

PLEASE help in telling me who you used and liked or didn't like -
I am getting really frustrated!

    We used Rockstar Limo. Sounds cliche, I know, but we were really pleased with them. I believe they have everything you're looking for. There was a deposit required at booking but it came with a contract. We only booked a trolley b/c it was soooo convenient - it fit everyone in the wedding party w/o issue and it was really easy for me to get in and out of in my puffy dress. Just my thoughts, but vintage cars are really fun! I found the prices to be average.

    thank you for the reply! we called rockstar - loved them! only thing was that their pricing for the vintage car was double from what ive seen from other places...i just emailed to see if there is anything they can do as we would be getting 3 vehicles through them...
    that has been my other problem - awesome companies with awesome prices but they want the deposit before any paperwork has been drawn up - FMIL (who is paying for limos) doesnt go for that and i cant say i blame her...
    her and FI are stuck on the vintage cars - but i dont think we are going to find it for the price and customer service component we need...

    I'm using Rockstar Limo and they have been great.  If their prices are good why not go the limo route through them and just use another vendor for the vintage car?

    It may be a little far fetched, but I would look on Craigslist or maybe go to a car show to see if you can 'rent' a car for the day?  What about a car company?  Not just limo, but there must be some car companies in the area that rent exotic cars, then you can just have a family member drive.  Not sure of prices, but I work in insurance and as long as the driver/renter has valid insurance coverage, the rental car is covered as well.

    Not much help here, just wanted to say that I am sorry it is so difficult!  We still haven't finalized our transportation for many of the same reasons that you mention. 

    If the type of car is important to your FI and FMIL I would explain to them that it is not in your budget and you have done all that you can.  Sometimes compromise is necessary and if they don't like that they can do the research and chase things down.  You have gone above and beyond at this point.  GL!

    We are still working on this as well and it seems to be a pain in the butt!
    I agree with PP. What about using rockstar for the limos and then going an alternate route for the vintage car.
    I know someone mentioned on here that they met a weird guy and rented a vintage car through him but he turned out to be totally awesome and reliable lol.

    You might want to sort through the posts to find that.

    thank you all for your replies and suggestions...that may be the best option as of now...getting the limos through rockstar and then the vintage car through someone else...we already have trolleys through viking tours - which have been great! they couldnt really rec anyone for the other stuff cept some weird guy - which is prob the same person from this board! RI fall bride -thank you! i do feel like ive gone above and beyond!! i spend all my time doing this when i need to be at work during my actual work or looking into other vendors for other things...i think i might just walk at this point. :)

    I am using Sentiental. They are really nice and they let you look at the cars before you make any decision. I didn't sign a contract until I knew which car I wanted.

    I am also using Sentiental. The fleet is smaller but I did get to look through all the cars before deposit and it comes with contract. They are out of EP agree seem really nice. The cheaper we found for a limo and silver which I liked.

    Have you tried celebirty limo?  They were so nice and their prices were by far, the best!! Give them a call and let me know what you thought!

    hi all - we decided to go with salon salon in wesport ma. FMIL got tired of looking through options(even though I was doing all the work) and sent them the deposit via credit card over the phone. even though i was skeptical to do this and told her that. because we don't have anything in writing yet - if we get burned - i dont know what we will do. but they seem to be a good upstanding company so we'll see.

    I am using Arrow Prestige in Warwick.  They were really nice and easy to work with and we were able to see what we wanted before signing any contract etc

    We are going through salon salon. They emailed me the contract right after they got the credit card payment. If you haven't received it yet def. call them. The guy I spoke with we very helpful and very responsive. Good luck with everything. We had a hard time with limos too.

    hi sarah - and to all others who read this thread with their suggestions :)
    we got 3 CC receipts and 3 contracts (based on 3 vehicles) emailed to us right after FMIL called with her credit card. phew! even though I'd heard good things about them, I wasn't breathing easier until we got the contracts. We talked with Jordan and he was very nice and attentive too. I think they will be great!
