Wedding Night Funny :)

So I have'nt shared this with you guys, but I think it's time to. So after the wedding, we went to our hotel, unpacked and talked for a sec about the day. DH got in the showr first, while I got out of my dress. Finally, I showered. My plan was to come out in my hot lil nighty and lay it on him. Well, I walk out all cute and stuff, thinking DH was waiting on me anxiously - i get out to the room and DH was snoring his life away - SLEEP! LOL at first I was in shock, like are you serious? I have seen this in movies and heard funny stories about it, but it happened to me! LOL

Soooo...I just started laughing to myself, covered him up - looked at all the rock the booth photo's - threw my robe on, and held him and went to sleep. But don't get it twisted...we sealed the deal once we woke up. LOL

But I thought that was funny and just had to share with you all.

Am I the only one?

Anyone predicting that this may happen on your wedding night?

Or should I have woken him up?! LOL

LOL, FI and I decided we're "sealing the deal" regardless of how tired we may be and how much we just want to go to bed. It probably won't be great, but oh well. We'll have the rest of our lives. :-)

But yes, I have heard this from a handful of people. I'd say probably about 50/50 -- at least from my friends that I feel comfortable enough talking about it with.

I'm afraid I'll be the one falling asleep!

Alcohol makes me soooo tired! I'm not even going to drink at all until near the end of the night because I'm afraid I'll just pass out at the table or something, LOL. FI seems pretty dead set on doing it on our wedding night, so I guess we'll see.

That will probably be me at the end of the night sans the snoring (because ladies don't snor? LOL). FI keeps saying we'll consummate our marriage that night, I highly doubt it.

I have a feeling this will happen to us...DH falls asleep on the couch at like 8:30 nightly, I swear he is geriatric lol. But we've got all day Saturday to 'seal the deal' haha

I had every intention of making it happen since you always hear people saying it never does. Once we got into the room and got out of our party clothes we both just laid in bed and had zero energy to do anything lol. I can't even describe how tired I was that night haha.

haa!! I love it. This is sooo funny!

I'm proof that it really does happen! And he wasn't even drunk b/c he doesn't really drink. He had one cup of wine. I on the other hand had a few glasses of wine..lol

Hahah Brandi! So funny!

I am actually a little worried about that being me...I am always sleepy. FI I swear could live on an hour of sleep a night so I'm sure he'll be ready to go. I'm determined to stick it out and NOT fall asleep. We'll see what happens! I suppose we do have the rest of our lives huh?

They had this on a radio call in a few months ago. Station 96.3 I think. They said like 80% don't do it on the night of the wedding!!! They had a really funny lady call in and said they MADE themselves do it so they wouldn't be a statistic. But she said it was REALLY REALLY bad nookie

haha! Yeah, Id rather not "do the do", thank do it and it suck! That wouldn't make me happy at all. LOL

Hilarious!

We said early on that there was no pressure either way. If we wanted too, we would, but we might be too tired, whatever.

We got back from the reception and ended up partying in one of the meeting rooms at our hotel and sending someone out to buy $80 worth of Steak & Shake (since DH forgot to tip anyone, he had lots 'o cash in his pockets!).

By the time we stumbled to our room and he took 20 minutes to unlace my dress, we were done. We sealed the deal the night after in Cleveland after the Pearl Jam concert. lol

We will be sealing the deal. FI has already said it's happening and he will not take any excuses! He thinks he's going to get drunk that night, but I told him it most likely won't happen since we'll be so busy doing other stuff. We'll see! I think he would be the one to fall asleep though and not me. Who knows though. 90% of my friends and FIs friends that got married said they did not seal the deal the night of their wedding. FI was so surprised, me not so much. It's going to be a busy day!

LOL, I didn't have DH fall asleep, but we did have a "kink" arise.

We weren't planning to stay in the hotel, we were going to go home because we had my step-daughter. DH's Aunt watched SD while we went to the bar after the wedding. At 2 o'clock we picked her up from their hotel room, and headed back to our room to grab our stuff and head home. DH lost the car keys, we looked all over and couldn't find them anywhere. We had a bedroom w/ 1 king size bed. And lord knows I'm not getting it on w/ a 6 year old asleep in the bed with us. So, no go for us that night or the following morning. LAME.

I think I will be the one falling asleep, probably in the car!!! Alchohol makes me extremely layed back and super tired. Im planning to have a Red Bull handy just in case, lol!!!!

HILARIOUS! I just got back from the Dollar Tree and bought FI five bottles of energy shots. I am willing to bet a month's paycheck that the minute he closes the hotel room door, he will lay down and pass out in his tux. He's a 9pm bedtime guy and that doesn't change much on the weekends or parties. Shame, because my dress is easy on, easy off. LOL

We definitely sealed the deal on the wedding night, that was important to both of us. The next morning we took a bubble bath in the jacuzzi tub before brunch.
