Table Numbers?

We will have about 20 tables at our reception, and I am looking for a creative way to use the numbers or label the tables.  Has anyone seen anything unique?

We are making each table be a diff place we have been and then putting a couple of pictures of us while we were at that place on the table.

I agree with PP, have you guys traveled a lot? Or moved around a lot as children? Pictures of places you've lived and you two while you lived there?

Or Your favorite places to visit?

If you want to do numbers alone you could cut out the numbers in one of your wedding colors, then put your other wedding color in the back of a picture frame.

I am using numbers but with a twist since all the numbers will have significance to us. We are using numbers to represent things like the number of years both our parents have been married, the date of our first date, the age of our  dog, ect. I am planning on putting on a small card on each table that explains why the number is special. I saw the idea from another knottie and loved it!

I saw where a couple named their tables after their favorite books.  We are doing places we have been/want to go to.  Our whole wedding kind of has the travel theme throughout, so we tried to stick with that.

Our reception will be at an Italian style winery, so I am using instead numbers, Italian cities name and pictures.

We Photoshop (they have a free 30-day trial) to add numbers to our engagement pictures, printed them on 4x6 photo paper, and then mounted 2 to cardstock (1 on each side).  They turned out very cute and we got tons of compliments!

We are doing either wood pieces with the numbers burned onto them (think of like cattle branding).  Or else we are having sticks that we will bend and place on probably cardboard to make out the numbers.  Something rustic is what we are going for.
