Chair Covers- Chicago

Getting married in 2 wks and I don't know what to do about chairs/covers. 164 guests, the chairs are decent at the venue, but owner recommends chair covers which will be $3/chair. Technically, there will be 157 chairs, because those under 3 will be sitting with Mommies.  But I am having a hard time understanding why I would pay $471 to rent something and not get anything back....
Looking at renting just chairs and its the same thing but you can possibly get $100/deposit back....I think I would be better off buying the chair covers/sash & renting them to future brides.  I mean, you get a better deal renting a car....
Thoughts please!!

look at The Chair Couture http://www.thechaircouture.com/
They rent chair covers for under $3 a chair and they do amazing work. Linens really make a difference at your tables.
If you want to buy some and rent them to future brides like you mentioned, that is an option but it seems like alot of work.

If your chairs are decent, then I would leave them be and save yourself the money. No one will notice if you don't have them!

If the chairs aren't horrible, I'd save the money. We could have done chair covers but I couldn't see spending the money. People notice what's on the tables not what they are sitting on.

We did use Chair Coture for some of our linens, (not chair covers) and they were awesome.
