Creative ideas for guests to take cookies besides white box or clear bag??

I'm helping to plan my brother's wedding and we're doing a milk and cookies wedding favor for guests to take on their way out of the ballroom. I'm trying to help them come up with a unique way to package the cookies besides a cellophane bag or a small white box. If we did the box or bag, I'd order personalized stickers with their name, date and the words, "Sweet Dreams! Love, Jane and John." But....I wonder if I can't come up with a better way to package the cookies in something that guests can actually keep instead of throw out? I saw these cute plastic Chinese take out boxes which I liked and we can still personalize with stickers (can order in the wedding color)....But has anyone done anything like this and can offer suggestions? Thanks!

  • I was going to suggest the Chinese food boxes.  I've been given a couple before with Christmas cookies and they were cute.

  • If I was a guest, I would probably throw away anything that can be described as "cute, plastic".  I honestly don't need or want mementos from someone else's wedding.  Save money and just go with with the clear bag.  If the cookie is cute, then the whole thing looks good.

  • The boxes I've been given were pre-decorated.....no need for stickers and personalizing.  Less work.

  • I did clear bags and cute tags for my cookies and I think they looked great.
  • I would also go with a cheap bag either white or clear.
  • I agree with the other girls. As a guest, I'd throw away the packaging no matter what it is. I don't need a "cute" box with someone else's name and wedding date on it - I don't save that sort of stuff. A sticker and maybe a ribbon on a clear bag will be perfectly fine.

  • I don't think I would keep the box if it was plastic or paper. The cellophane or white boxes sound cute and stickers will make it personalized.
  • I could be a complete dodo brain, but what is a 'milk and cookies' favor?  I understand the cookies part, just not the milk.  Are they supposed to take the cookies home and have them with milk?  (Forgive me, on my best day I'm not the brightest or sharpest crayon in the box)
