Help! My fiance and I are planning a last minute wedding in Manhattan for October -- looking for a cool venue for 100.  I live in Los Angeles so I need eyes. Thanks!

    Try The Alger House in the West Village.  Sorry I don't have the number but it's online.  Beautiful, intimate, kinda funky and the food is wonderful! Jeno Stiner is the venue coordinator.  Although it's booked for me on 10/9 :-)

    October is such a popular month for weddings in NYC, you may want to try some of the bigger hotels??  Or a restaurant that can be rented out?

    I really like the Foundry. It's got that stunning NYC feel not to mention an awesome view. Was going to have my wedding there before my fiance and I decided to go with a destination wedding. Hope you find what you're looking for! I know that as a photographer, I'd love to shoot a wedding there with so many details that exude new york city and as a bride to be, I feel that it still gives you the oppurtunity to not have a wedding that looks like every other wedding. There's nothing blah about it!
    I've checked out so many wedding venues both for my wedding and I've shot several weddings so if you need a hand, let me know! I might have some more recommendations closer to what you're looking for.
