I recently got into reading and have found that I really enjoy it. The only down fall is I feel like I'm always spending money on books that I'm able to finish in a week or so.. Does anyone else have a kindle account? If so, would anyone like to start loaning books out? I have a few that the authors allow to be leant out.. I'm specifically looking to read Beautiful Disaster right now but I don't feel like spending $10 on the book.

    Check your library, kindles can get ebooks at the library now.  I have the nook, and have only bough like 10 books in 2 years...

    i have a kindle but its the 2nd generation --- i dont think i am able to lend books...and i think it may not work anymore. i havent bought a book in awhile for it < my dog spilled a cup of coffee on it when we were sitting outside- so i was waiting to see if it would dry out ! lol i know if i buy a book on it that it probally will not work right < after she did that i was in the middle of the last hunger games it would skip around i would be reading and it would skip to other chapters going to chpter 1 then chapter 12 then chapter 6 etc etc and that was all without me hitting any buttons lol... crazy dog!!!!>seriously i had to download kindle for mac to finish the book!!! i do not like reading on my computer!!!! i want to get the kindle fire !!! i miss my kindle! i also have a ton of books< paperback > that my cousin lent me - that i need to read thats whats keeping me from checking my kindle to see if its working properly!

    If its a author who has recently started a new series or hasnt made it big yet, if you like their fan page to facebook, they will sometimes run specials to get their book for free on your kindle. I like Elizabeth Loraine novels (supernatural type series) and around holidays or when she releases a new book in her series she will offer a free download for one of the books in the series. But her books to download are usually no more than $5. I got 4 books by her around Christmas, only one I had to pay for and that was because it was her new release that just came out that month.
