Where is your rehersal dinner??

Hey Ladies,

Trying to get some ideas for rehersal dinner, so I can give my future inlaws a bunch of options to choose from.

Where are you having your rehersal dinner?
How many people are you inviting?
About how much is the rehersal dinner (if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks so much!!!

Since most of our guests are coming from out of town and this is now our home  so we are having an open house. We are inviting about 80 and still haven't nailed down the catering.

The majority of our guests have never been to Florida so we're having a fish fry at my parent's home and inviting everyone.

    Great question!
I'm looking at something low key...I'd like to find a venue on/near the beach.  I'll invite all in the wedding party...but would also like all the guests to come to since we're having a DW wedding.  I'm sure it'll get pricey...so I'm completely up in the air about what to do!
Wish I had more to tell you...

I just booked my place this weekend!  We are having approx. 30 people (just family and WP since 99% of our 150 guests are local).  Our Rehearsal is actually going to be at 10am, so this is more like a Rehearsal Luncheon.  But, we wanted something fairly close to our venue in downtown St Pete, so I booked a private room at 400 Beach Seafood.  It's directly across from Straub Park and kitty-corner to the Vinoy.  The room holds up to 50 people, has a large flat screen TV we can use for our slide show, and private bathrooms.  They will decorate for us and put linens on the tables and are making personalized menus with our 3 entree selections on them.  They are even allowing us to bring in our own dessert and providing a cake table since I'd like to have our Groom's Cake there.  There is no room fee, no deposit required, all that for only $14.95 pp!  I'm stoked!  Here's the website with the private party menu if anyone's interested:

FI and I had lunch there on Sat and were VERY impressed!  Food was great!
    Yay for "checks"! Laughing

We rented a beach house for FI's parents to stay at close to the hotel and ceremony.  We're going to have the RD and Farewell Brunch in the backyard.  Not sure who's she's gotten to be the caterer yet.
