where to have gifts sent?

My FI and I live in California but our wedding is in Pennsylvania in October. What address to we put for our registries (where we live or where we are going to be the week of the wedding)?  We live in a condo so there isn't a front porch for deliveries to just be left and we will be gone for 10 days during the week of the wedding.  However, if we use my parents address in Pennsylvania it will cost us tons of $$ to have the presents shipped back.

Any help?

    You should have them shipped to wherever is most convenient for you to receive them.  A lot of gifts will arrive before or after the time you are away.  Is there a close friend or relative that lives near you that has a good package delivery system you could have them sent to?

    Can you use the address for your clubhouse if your condo has one?  Or have one of your neighbors pick up your packages.

    Can you put the address of where you work?  UPS and USPS typically deliver packages to businesses during business hours and maybe they can be put at your desk or a storage closet until you arrive back home.
