Where to buy an antique-looking ring

My best guy friend is planning to propose to his gf and asked me where I'd recommend him to get the ring.  His gf is into the Victorian era, shabby chic decor, soft muted pastels, and old-timey stuff.  She's studying creative writing and poetry, if that gives you an idea of what she likes.
The ring doesn't have to be antique itself, it can just look antique.  The only thing I can think of is Etsy.
Would you ladies know anywhere else?

    I would check out Jared's(Kenwood location) You can customize a ring, pick the setting and different center stone. Plus all sizing, redipping and repairs is done on site.  I remember when we started looking at rings I was considering a ring with round stone with a pave setting and rose gold on the side at Jared's.

    My ring is from Kay in Kenwood. It's vintage looking and I ALWAYS get compliments on it. I love it.

    my ring is from the Scott Kay vintage collection and I get compliments all the time. It's got engraving on the band which makes it look very classy.

    You can buy some really great antique engagement rings on ebay. I know it sounds scary to buy a ring on ebay but you can easily find out if a dealer is reputable by loooking at the ratings/comments. Most of them will offer free sizing and free, no questions asked returns. There are some from estate sales that are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!

    I saw many at Richter and Phillips downtown.

    Not sure on prices, but they have some of the most beautiful rings that I've seen, and good customer service too.
