When the Magic Bullet first came out I would watch the infomercial every time I came across it and I was really into it, so much that my friends teased me about it! I never ended up buying one but I have friends who have one and they don't like it, so I guess I dodged a bullet (pun intended).

There's a really cool infomercial I like now for an edger/trimmer for your lawn. It's battery operated and they make it look so easy and lightweight, but my H swears the battery would die before you could even do your entire yard.

I'll pretty much stop and watch any food related/cooking related infomercial. I'm easily swayed by infomercials but never buy anything.

I know man. It was a whirlwind trip. I was in Houston all of about 30 minutes. And on top of that, I'd consumed so much Red Bull by the time I made it to Houston that talking to me would have been nearly indecipherable. I felt like a trucker. A methy one.

What ASOT item(s) have you purchased? Ped egg (cool), sham wows (lame), shark steam mop(cool), the instyler (was a gift, lame), perfect brownie pan (AWESOME), and I'm sure there are more (H works at a store that sells a lot of these, so we have a lot)

What ASOT item(s) would you like to purchase? Neckline slimmer. I know it probably doesn't work but I hate my waddle and I want to try it Also the bottle topper things. I can't seem to finish a can of anything.

What ASOT item(s) have you purchased? The Big Top Cupcake, The Snuggie, The Bullet Express (The Bullet was a gift), and DH and I just bought this thing that is supposed to keep your 2-liters fresher longer, but we've not tested it yet. I'll keep you posted.

Oh yeah, the SlapChop! You have to cut stuff just to fit it under that little thing! That one cracks me up.

Brie, now that you mention it I think I remember you using your bullet to make smoothies right? And I was a little jealous, so maybe they aren't so bad after all!

I love my Bullet Express. The juicer feature is excellent, especially if you don't want the fruit bits in your drink.

I use it when I make cheesecake to crush the graham crackers, and it crushes them so finely...I am always impressed.

My sister had the Magic Bullet and she used it ALL the time to puree her son's baby food, and it gave out right around the time she didn't need to do that anymore, so she didn't buy another, but she says it worked well.

I forgot, technically George Foremans were ASOT, and I love ours.

I've used it a number of times and I love it.

You do have to level off the pieces just because of the way that a cake gets rounded on the top, but even professional bakers have to do that.

It comes out really easily (if you use baking spray as suggested in the instructions) and it works just fine. I like it.

What ASOT item(s) do you think is ridiuclous? - I can't remember the name of it, but it's this sound amplifier. The commercials made it look like you would have supersonice hearing, but it was ridiculous.

What ASOT item(s) would you buy if everyone you know wouldn't make fun of you for it? - Dan makes fun of every ASOT thing I buy.

Have you ever bought an ASOT item that you regretted? - PedEgg and Smooth Away, which was glorified sand paper. My friend had a Bump-it and it worked well in her hair, but my hair is thinner, so it doesn't work at all.
