Budget friendly "Day of" Coordination

Hi Brides,

Need some help. We are having a backyard wedding and really trying to stay pretty budget friendly with everything. We are doing a ton of DIY and glad to be doing so but I know I need someone for the "day of" so i can be hands off and stress free. Any recommendations would be truly appreciated.

    Altar Ego... That's who I'm using! What is your definition of 'budget friendly'?
    When I was looking I found a lot of planners on Craigslist, but I would be wary of anyone that didn't come with firm references.

    My venue does Day Of coordination too. And the owner is very 'on top' of getting things done for me. Not sure on her price but her venue is uber cheap so her Day Of must be cheap too. go to specialmoments.info

    Haha, I guess that is good to know.  All I know is my coordinator is <strong>not</strong> friendly to most budgets.  :p

    Thanks for all the great info. Since the wedding will be in the new house were building when I say budget friendly I mean this budget needs to be my BFF and sthe friendliest budget ever! i was thinking around $300-400 but after reading reviews and visiting a couple of websites I think that may be a pipe dream only granted in bridal dreamland! Booo!

    I will say that having a coordinator was the absolute best decision I made regarding my wedding (aside from, you know, the husband).  If you can spare the money, a good coordinator is totally worth it!
