  • I've got 23 and last night was the second night I couldn't sleep. This had to do with FMIL talking to FSIL about the menu and FSIL thought we should have fruit because her 2 kids 2 and 4 would like it and not anything else we had on the menu WTF? The menu was fine, if you want fruit bring some in a baggie. Ugh so now because of her I almost lost the soup (saved) but then FMIL said well then maybe we can get rid of the pasta salad and I'm like why and she's like because of the fruit! UGH, this is how perfectly nice women become bridezillas over stupid stuff. FI was in London until yesterday so while we were both up at 3 am this morning he wants to know why I can't sleep so I tell him. I think we are not going to have fruit :)

  • Pele I am watching and wondering when my 'moment' will be. I am so tired right now with un-wedding stress, that I couldn't be happeris to have so much wedding stuff done/planned. I hope you share pictures of your dress! I am sure you will b stunning :)

And really - I am sure that there is a Mom creed somewhere about weird stressers in the final weeks of wedding planning. My Mom loves my FI (she detested my first H. That was a long unbearable and lonely estrangement for 16 years! ha!), but last night she was texting me about continuing couple therapy with the preacher dude that handled our pre-marital stuff - and just kept on! She is sure we could use it. She will PAY for it. Surely I would get something out of it. I was half laughing and half pissed! Get a grip Mom! I finally told her I think everyone can benefit from counseling that encourages personal growth - self included - but I wasn't continuing this conversation right now.

Take time to laugh. Whatever does that for you - a movie, time with FI, time alone! And it doesn't matter if you belt out uncontrollable laughter, or snicker, or just smile in amusement (I'm boring, I rarely actually laugh out) - take time and make this a priority. I promise it will help. I believe that.

This! Go to pinterest and look at the Humor category. It helps me EVERY time! :)

You're probably more organized than you thought so try to focus on all that you've done and the LITTLE amount that still needs to be done.
