AW: THURSDAY!!!!

Alright Ladies....let's share all of our accomplishments of the week!

I'll start...

-The mission is a DRESS....you will all be so proud of me going to the GTG this past Saturday with no appts or clue...I have the next 3 WEEKENDS booked with bridal shops I will be visiting! MAN, I hope I find something! I have printed a zillion pics,  some I LOVE and some I would settle but I'm going in with an open mindLaughing

-FI wedding band ready, BUT they need me to go in to give the final approve to continue with my bands and they want me to give up my ring since they want it to match.

-STD's done!  Just waiting for them to arrive...wooooo hooo can't wait to have them in my fat little hands. * and since we won the contest with Christina she'll create a design for magnets so we are pending on that design.

-Decided on a MUA...Christina's assistant Elena. I really LOVED the way she did my make up for the e-pics so she'll be doing boudoir and wedding day.

-Finalizing florist list.
-Creating a list to take to the 2 potential bakers
-Bought teapots at Marshall's
-Looking for a MOH gift.
-DIY is always on! We have a lot completed just needs to be printed and seen if it looks the same on screen than on paper and if not back to square #1

So far I think that is it.

Here's the stuff I have done this week:

    1. Met with organist and went over music.

    2. Got sample programs for springboard for my progams.

    3. Got pillar rentals--I am so stoked I got these: I needed something pretty to put two of the 4 arrangments I am making for the church on(the church has some old frumpy very 80s looking wicker holders)  There was a rental place by my bank when I was running some errands and I managed to find these perfect roman columbs that are sturdy but not heavy at all and they're renting to me for like $18 a piece--I just pick them up on Friday before the wedding and drop them off the monday following.  I am so glad I didn't have to buy them!

    4. I made the monogram for our Gobo projection and sent it out to John, our DJ.

    5. I met with Estella at the Odyssey and with Christina, our DOC, yesterday and finalzed our menu and most of our arrangments for the wedding--I still have to mail her my final timeline.

    6. I sent John our initial playlist but it looks like we're going to have to revise that since i have no idea what to do for our garter toss.

    7.  I went and got my dad measured for a tux which was a load of stress because my dad has a way of always finding how to embarrass me in public.

I still have a done of stuff to do!  I look at my to do lists and I start feeling really bad I can't do more.

Everyone's been so productive! This week I've only done  a few things, work has been crazy busy.

    1. Set up a meeting with a calligrapher for tomorrow- to give her my invitation envelopes and pick which style of writing I want.

    2. Received and started looking over brochures of wedding bands for FI (his stepmom owns a jewelry store in NC, so she sent us brochures of what they carry- and we can buy it at cost, same as my engagement ring, woo hoo).

    3. Booked a B-pic session for May with my photographer, Jordana Hazel. I'm super nervous but I know it will be a good thing!

Genie-u are so silly...but thank you! I just want to keep it going so that at the end I'm not stuck with all this "to-do list".

I must admit I am a bit stressed about the dress since some dresses do requiere a 6 month period and I coud only hope I don't really love a dress that requires 6months ++, because in that case I may have to settle for a dress. That's what happens when you procrastinate Frown

When you find the right one you will love it forever no matter how little or how long takes to get in, finding the right dress is like finding the right guy. You should be fine.

I can't wait to see mine again, I haven't seen it in 3 months!
