I am bored with the Unity Candle, the sand feels like a hippie Kumbayah. What are some really unique, cool things you have seen?

Just depends on your style. It's symbolic of the joining of two families. You could have a vase at the altar and have the moms/grandmothers each carry a flower to place in the vase. Then you'll have a bouquet of flowers representing the joining of your families. IDK. I've never seen it done, but I tihnk it sounds cool!
