Flowers on Springtree Lane

When I was searching for a florist I looked through these boards first. I noticed TONS of comments about Flowers on Springtree Lane so I immediately got on their website! At first I sent an email giving my wedding date and stating that I wanted to meet with them. I also called the number provided which was for Anne's personal cell phone, and left a message. After I heard nothing back for a month I decided to try calling again. Anne answered and said that they had received my information and would call me within the week to set up a consultation. That was a month and a half ago and I have yet to hear back...

SO bummed because I truly wanted to use them! Just wanted to let you girls know how their communication with me was. I know a lot of you had better experiences with them...wish I could say the same!

Eeek, sorry :( I know, I am HUGE with the communication thing. I have picked vendors because of their communication skills. We were going to go with a cheaper caterer, but the communication wasn't good. We ended up going with a caterer who was SO responsive and helpful. A little more expensive, but I trust their company just based on their communication with me.
I contacted a flower place called Petals & Leaves and they were really nice and responsive. I hear they are expensive, though... so we shall see! My appointment isn't until August 3rd. But yeah, it's a real turn off when a vendor brushes you off for weeks... I know and understand they are busy (esp. this time of year!) but a simple e-mail saying that they have not forgot about you would be nice. So far my vendors are awesome and we are really pleased!

That is a total bummer. They are acting like they don't want or need your business in my opinion. That would be enough to make me look elsewhere!

That's too bad! If I was using flowers they would have been a place I called because of all the reviews on here. Sorry I don't have any personal recs for you.
I went the anti flower route. All of my bouquets, bouts, etc are being made out of buttons. If you want ideas there, I'd be happy to help

I am using Petals and Leaves.  They have been great with communication and they were by far my favorite when it came to understanding my ideas.  I'm not sure what the final price is going to be yet, but I made the decision to go with the florist I felt the strongest about working with.   She is going to work within my budget, so hopefully we will be happy in the end.  I also met with FOSL, they were nice enough, but I also kind of got the feeling that they didn't care one way or another if they got my business.  Probably because they are so busy ...but none the less I didn't get the excited feeling that I had when talking with Petals and Leaves.

I have worked with both florists mentioned here (flowers on spring tree lane) and Petals and leaves

After my initial appointment with Flowers on Springtree lane I was excited and their final number came in MUCH lower than other places but I had the same issue Lack of communication and at one point they told me they would do something and then a month or so later said they no longer could.

after going to 8 florists I found Dee at Petals and Leaves and I was BLOWN AWAY by her! I was getting sick of going to floral appointments and had kinda just given up but she took what I was trying to do to a whole new level.  She is GREAT!

Communication definitely tells a lot about avendor! I will have to check petals and leaves out! I met with Jerry from Designs by Jerry and really liked him too!

That is so weird! I used FOSL for my wedding last weekend, and they were so great! I met with like 6 florists I think, and they were the lowest quote by far! Sorry that you have had a bad experience with them. They always answer my phone calls and emails immediately.

I found Ecoflora on theknot.com, and so far I LOVE her. (Eva) She is just starting out, but she uses all organic flowers from sustainable sources, and has some really fantastic and creative ideas. She has been super responsive, and is coming to meet with me in my home after I explained that I don't drive .(I am sickly, long story, the world is a safer place w/o me behind the wheel! :P) The sketches (she actually sent me sketches of my flowers that I loved so much I sent them to everyone I know!) she sent were just so creative and beautiful, not the kind of stuff you see all the time but so cool! At any rate you can find her under local vendors. I am considering myself so very lucky, when she opens her brick and mortar storefront in September I don't think she will be in my price range anymore!

I am using FOSL next March and they have been great with their communication.  It has not taken them more than a day or two to get back to me!
