I really, really, REALLY should have known better than to plan an outdoor wedding. For real. What was I thinking? There is no one who has worse luck than me. I am the girl whose last two Carribean vacations were plagued by every day, all day rain (not even kidding about this, every day, all day--two vacations in a row).
And so, I'm getting married outdoors, in Dover on Saturday and naturally it's going to rain. And even if doesn't, it's going to be MUGGY and sticky and 90% humidity. My least favorite kind of weather, and the weather most likely to lay waste to my hair, which barely holds a curl anyway.
And if one more person tells me this is all a sign of "good luck" for the marriage I may karate chop them. It's actually not good luck, since I planned to get married outdoors. And also I am a bit tired of hearing about how it doesn't matter because I'll still be married. Of course that's true, I know the marriage is the most important thing, but if I didn't care about anything except that, I wouldn't have spent the last 8 months planning a wedding, I would have just gone to city hall.
End rant.
