 I am going to IA for a wedding this weekend and my FI told me this morning he is planning on going tomorrow to put our deposits down for the bakery and his tuxes, then on Sunday going to church and hopefully confirming our wedding date with a pastor, then going to buy his ring at the mall!  I was shocked he is going to do all of this in one weekend and that he volunteered!   I think he knows how stressed I am since I'm not going to be home at all this month....plus he said I don't get to bother him with wedding stuff after!  ;)

    Way to go your FI!  I'm trying to get my FI to go to the post office to weigh our invitations and buy postage this weekend, but he's worried about screwing it up.  I might end up having to go myself next week over lunch.

    luuuucky you!!  i've pretty much been in control of the wedding stuff but my fiance makes decisions with me.  i wish he would just say "i found us a new pastor, i've chosen what ties the GM are wearing, I wrote our speeches, my vows are done and i've arranged final payments" but noooo, organization is not his strong point.  still love him though!

    haha, I do feel blessed! 
    I have been in charge of the wedding stuff thus far, and went with to the first tux apt, cake apt, ring apt and church apt.....I just think yesterday when I emailed him saying we need to circle around on these things he decided it would be easier (and probably earn him brownie points) if he took care of it this weekend while I'm gone!  I'll still be doing the rest of the details!

    FI does stuff when I tell him to... Yesterday when I was doing my table numbers I got up to fix dinner and told him to take over where I left off. I had been watching say yes to the dress at the time. It was very funny ten minutes later to walk back into the room, him all surrounded by wedding stuff and very involved in the show, lol
