Help me find a South Shore Brunch location

Hi ladies,

I'm looking to do a graduation brunch for FI in May, when he graduates from his Masters program.  We live in Quincy, but the Fox and Hound already has both their private rooms booked.  I'm open to any suggestions of a nice brunch in the South Shore.  It would be for 25 people, I'm looking to stay under $30 a person. (I'm originally from the North Shore and have only lived in Quincy for a year- I'm clueless!)

Thanks in advance for any help or ideas!

You could try the Inn at Bay Pointe in Quincy on 3A.  They have a pretty standard brunch and it's $14.95 a person- i just went there this past weekend, they also have a back room you may be able to use.

Might want to try some of the restaurants at Marina Bay too! i think capt. fishbones does a brunch and Port 305 might also.

Port 305 www.wix.com/mariav72/port3052 - Marina Bay, great food and location

Scarlet Oak Tavern (Hingham) www.scarletoaktavern.com - I did a brunch with my BMs the day before my wedding here --- LOVE their food!

I'm not a fan of the Inn at Bay Pointe...it is really outdated IMO

I second Port 305, love it there.  Went to a dinner function and the food was great.

Abby Park in East Milton Square is new but it is great. You should check their website.

Port 305 is supposed to be excellent as well.

If you wanted to head further south Atlantica in Cohassett has a very nice brunch.

Thanks ladies, I'll have to check out Port 305 and some of the other restaurants you've suggested!

@lisa- Common Market was one of the first places I checked, because FI's family has done Easter and Thanksgiving there in the past, but they don't do private events on Sundays, except for Easter and Mother's Day!

Not sure how far you are willing to travel but Lake Pearl Luciano's has a Sunday Brunch, its about $18 per person I beleive. It is located in Wrentham, and it is a beautiful place.

Bridgeman's is right on the water at Nantasket Beach in Hull.  Their function room is on the second floor with an entire wall of windows looking out over the ocean. The food is delicious too!
Best of luck with your search.
