i use depot cleaners in scarsdale (right near the train station). been using them for years, they always do a excellent job on alterations. i've had dresses done plenty of times and they're always perfect when i get them back. it's not white plains, but next door and they're good!

I am using La Robe by Leah in Yonkers (Central Ave across from Roosevelt HS). She did a BM dress for me for my friends wedding and I am using her for both my bridal gown and my sis' BM dress.

My bestfriend was married last summer and used Follia's in White Plains for our dresses and alterations, our dresses fit perfectly and she wasn't over priced. I'm going to her this week to order my BM dresses. She's a little hard to understand, but she does good work.

RE: La Robe and Mary's and Patty's - they are both highly recommend on this board so you might want to check them out!

RE: Follia - most bridal salons will alter bridal and  BM dresses if you buy them there. Most don't alter gowns that were not bought at their store.

Can your girls go to where they got their dresses?
