Photographer and DJ recc's?

Hi all!

We are getting married next September in Haymarket, VA. We are looking for a photographer and a DJ, preferably based out of the VA area. As usual, price matters, but photographs are incredibly important to me, so we're willing to splurge a little.

Who are you all using? Or who have you heard was good? THANKS!

    michellelindsayphotography.com (A friend of mine--she was voted the most up and coming photographer in the DC area, so her prices might be too high--they are for me!)

    sarasultanphotography.com (I'm interviewing her next week, but I think that we might book her--she's a friend of a friend)

    DJ -  I used Jamal from World Renown Entertainment, He was excellent. He's based on MD, but travels everywhere. I originally saw him at a friend's wedding in Chantilly,VA. And he did my wedding in Baltimore.  Contact him, tell him Lucy sent you.
    Dream Day Dj's, Jake was another DJ I almost used but was too much $$.

    Melissa Arlena's collections start at $3995--but I think that they include a lot of things.  Even though Mel is on maternity leave, she'll probably get back to you soon--just not AS soon as she normally would.
