Budget Friendly Florists

I just recently went to a florist consultation and I was quoted over $1500 for all of my bridal party flowers including parents and altar arrangements. However I do think this price is way over my budget. Not to mention, I think it is ridiculous to spend so much money on something that is going to be discarded or thrown to the side by the next day. Can any suggest some budget friendly florists in the New Orleans and/or Metairie area.

    Just send her an e-mail with all your details, a wish list, maybe some photos, color scheme and your budget and see what she proposes.

    Pretty quick for me-- usually within a day but I guess she's probably busy on weekends.

    We used Erin Steen (esteen123 at yahoo.com). She works out of her home and was very reasonable on prices. I was very happy with her work. Here are pics of mine and the bridesmaids bouquets.

    Christina emailed me back the same day with her questionnaire for me to fill out.  She has been on vacation for the last week, so I know she is catching up.  I imagine if you tell her you need a quick response, she will get you one. Good luck!

    Make sure you contact Erin Steen. She is amazing to work with. Very passionate about her job. Since she works from home, her prices for flower arrangements and bouquets are very reasonable.

    I contacted Erin and while she was quick in responding I just didnt get a good vibe from her. To be honest, her prices were not any different than a normal florist. However, on a good note, I did get a quick response from Christina and I love how she even gave me a little background information on her business in the email. She seemed extremely excited and willing to work with me despite my budget restraints and allergy issues to flowers. Christina did mention to me that she is 2 weeks behind on proposals so I guess I will have to be patient. LOL

    egammo3- I just got my proposal from Christina (I submitted all of my info to her about 2 weeks ago) and it is very detailed and very budget friendly.  I am happy with my communication with her so far.  Also, my coordinator recommended her to me, so I feel comfortable that she is the one for me!  Good luck!!

    AWESOME! So at least I know she keeps her word (A HUGE PLUS) when she says she will have a proposal within 2 weeks. This makes me feel so much better.

    I'm paying $550 for everything and I printed the bouquets I wanted from fat cat flowers and she matched all the flowers for that price

    Her number is 504-341-2293 and her name is Phyllis her place is a little cluttered but I guess that's how you keep your prices low by not having a big fancy place lol and she has a website also
