So while Im deathly ill and basically vegging on the couch I have some time to think about our reception tables and how muted and blah it looks with what we chose so far.....which is completly NOT what we want.
Quick info on the venue for those that don't know: its an old mansion that was completely renovated. Lots of ivory, chandeliers in every room and these brassy goldish chiavari chairs in the reception space. Fi and I already purchased silver chargers and are using their gray napkins. They did have "orange" but it was more of a dark cinnamon with a pattern...bleh. Moving along... our only things of color will be the centerpieces and we decided to add small white favor boxes with a coral ribbon.
Im wondering if thats still not enough and if I should look into coraly orange chair sashes and napkins to give the place a bright, happy, summery feel which is what we both really want. Thoughts? Suggestions? I found peach sashes on efavormarts site but I dont know if they so samples.
Edit: Heres a photo of a recent wedding there to give an idea
