Blue Dahlia - Coordinator

I've just been in contact w/ Michelle at Blue Dahlia to be our Day of Coordinator + starting to be the contact w/ vendors 1 month prior. She sounds fabulous and her prices reasonable but didn't know what others thought about the company/her.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated and we need to try to meet w/ her next week.

    I talked with Michelle when I was looking for someone to help plan my wedding.  My needs were a little different than yours - I was looking for someone to help me plan the whole thing since I'm planning from out of town. I ended up going with another wedding planner, but I have to say it was a REALLY tough decision.  Michelle is just getting started in the business, but all of her references gave gushing rave reviews, she's incredibly sweet, and her prices were great.  Even though I ended up choosing someone else who has more relationships with vendors, I think I would have chosen Michelle if I were looking for a DOC.  I thought she was fabulous.

    We've heard nothing but glowing reviews of Michelle.  If we weren't having such a small wedding, and therefore not be in need of a coordinator (and rob my mom of that job), we'd have jumped on the opportunity to hire her.  I've been told her attention to detail is incredable. From what I gather, her prices are very competative; but, as a PP mentioned, it might be because she's a newbie to the business.  Our officiant was also Michelle's officiant, and she raved about working with Michelle and how easy her wedding seemed to come together so I guess it's no wonder Michelle chose to join the wedding industry.

    Not sure if you have already made a decision but we are using Michelle and LOVE LOVE LOVE her. Although she doesn't have as many vendor contacts as some other coordinators might, she is willing to go to appointments with you and knows the right questions to ask. She is extremely well organized and very attentive to your needs. I hope you found her to be a good fit!
