Worked on DYI's this weekend! PIP

Hope you ladies all had productive weekends!! We are getting down to the wire, 10/5/12 girls we are at 2 months!!!!

So I saw this cute sign on Pinterest and decided to make it for my little 2 year nephew to carry down the aisle.  As he walks down it will read "Uncle Pete, here comes your girl!" and on the way down his mother will flip it to say "Mr & Mrs"  I wanted to make them myself so I can incorporate my peacock colors :-)  There will be hooks added to the top and ribbon looped around so he can arry it on his neck and hold the sides.






I also found a great deal on glass ornaments at Hobby Lobby when using the 40% off coupons, only problem is they are so strict about using only one per customer per day!  We printed a bunch and had friends come with us and we were able to get 8 boxes (of 12 ornaments) out of the 14 total boxes we need.  I put together the ones we have with the peacock feathers so I have a head start on those! Each ornament will have one rhinestoned peacock feather in it and they will be in clear vinyl boxes...Can't wait to be done with these too!!

    Oh I love the sign! Thats a great idea to have it flipped and read something else on the way back out! How cute!

    Those ornaments are cute too, but I bet they are a pain! Are you using them as decorations or giving them away as favors?

    Thanks Ladies!! The ornaments are our favors, they will have little tags with our names and date hanging off the top and in clear boxes at each seat at dinner.

    I love them! My mom made us a sign for two of my flower girls to carry first that says "Here comes the bride" and then a smaller one for the third to carry saying "Last chance to run!!" One of my MOH's knows about the second sign, and then my parents, but it will be a surprise to everyone else! I think FI will be entertained. :)

    Hey Stacy,

    I also went to New Paltz for college and travel up to Utica a few times a year for friends that live in that area!  I am definitely doing the peacock theme, lots of things in purples, blues, and jade!  I have a ton of stuff on pinterest but more saved on my computer if you are ever looking for suggestions :-)
