This job market scares me. Big time. Am I ever going to find anything?? I have a Bachelor's in Middle Childhood Education, but I am not certified to teach. I realized that I wasn't really cut out for teaching, but was more interested in the administrative end. I'd have to go back to college to get a specialization in school administration, which costs money! Errr! Then I decided I wanted to learn more about pastoral counseling (which is what I have my Master's degree in). It was an online program, but again, I wasn't able to become a licensed counselor because I couldn't get the time off work for the clinicals. I really did that program to use more on a voluntary basis... within a church or something like that. I really enjoy learning, so I loved taking those classes, but now I feel like I wasted money. I also think that having the Master's on my resume is hindering my job search. What do you all think??
I am moving to the West side on Saturday so at least I have been able to use this time packing, but it's getting really discouraging. I have a lot of great skills to offer a company, but they just see a resume and probably toss it in the pile with everyone else. *Sigh...*
