I'm not sure what to do in this situation.... I'm having my reception at an upscale hotel which has expensive rooms (but well worth it, in my opinion!). I am trying to give my guests a more affordable option for overnight accomodations, so I'm thinking about booking a blocking of rooms at the Comfort Inn which is 5 miles down the road from the reception site. The price would be $139.99 which is more affordable than a room at the reception site. (I still think the Comfort Inn could have offerred me a better price for a block of rooms, but maybe I'm being cheap

)
Anyways, I am not sure if I should block the rooms because I read mixed reviews on the internet. SOme say that this Comfort Inn was terrible, some say it was great for the price. Now, I'm sure there are mixed reviews about EVERY Comfort Inn (and every hotel for that matter)...but my fear is that I will offer this hotel as an option for my guests, and they will have a bad experience. The last thing I want is for my guests to remember my wedding as a bad experience.
I suppose you run this risk when you block rooms at any hotel, because you can never guarantee that your guests will have a wonderful hotel stay....but I just need some opinions. Should I block the rooms and offer it as an option? Even if it might not be a great hotel?
