Need a cheap venue for wedding and reception

I need help ladies. I am getting married Jan. 2, 2013. We were gonna get married at the Crowne Plaza here in Marietta since my fiancee works there. Now since we're not sure about his job security we need to find a new venue, one that doesnt break the bank. Im not sure what my budget is yet. I have looked at several places but figured this would be the best place to locate a vendor. Ladies any ideas???

    Depending on what you're looking for... The Roswell River Landing is great!

    We're getting married there.... it's super affordable and you can bring in any vendor you like! You can do indoor/outdoor.... holds up to 150 guests (I think?).... they provide you with just the space, chairs, and tables.


    $500 deposit.... $900 rental.... you get the $500 back so long as there are no damages.

    The crowne plaza isn't really that expensive. I called the galleria one pretty good prices.

    How cheap for how many people?  We are doing ours in January 2013 at Primrose Cottage in roswell.  We are having about 100 guests and it is running about 8K for everything.  (we are having buffet and limited wine only to cut down on costs as most of our guests will not drink or only have one). Their site fee is reduced to $250.00 total for Jan and Feb.  Might be lower for a weekday as I am getting married on Sat Jan 5 in the afternoon.

    My second choice was the Whitlock in and they ahve packages for 50-450 people.  They let you bring in your own alcohol so that saves money as well.
