How much is normal hair and make-up cost in Las Vegas? Should the bride pay for the bridal party?

If you you request more information from various salons on theknot they can give you their pricing. Salons I was looking at we're charging approximately $85-95 for just bridal hair. I'm going to be having the glam squad do my hair and make up and they charge 95 for hair and 135 for hair and regular makeup. I think it's okay to expect your bridesmaids to pay for their own hair or makeup if they wanted to get it done. Any wedding I've ever been in, this seemed to be the etiquette.

For us it will be $285, probably a little more because I want false lashes and I think they forgot to add in that I wanted mine airbrushed and we're using glamsquad. We're doing makeup only for myself, my mom, and my maid of honor. I'm having a family friend's sister (she is graduating from cosmotology school and wants to get into wedding makeup) do the other 2 bridesmaids which we'll be paying for.

im actually doing air brush and hair.. i will pay for MOH and bridesmaid (daughter) she gets false lashes cause how she put it on senior ball nite "mom i got asian eyes i need them" lol i lost it and cracked up lol im adding those 2 into WP gift

I would budget between $250 and $350 if you do hair + makeup + a trial run which is highly recommended because sometimes things don't always come out the way you intended and wedding day can be tough to change your mind last minute.

It's not expected that you'll pay for your BM's hair and makeup, however, if you're going to ask your BM's do all do their hair a certain way, my personal opinion is that you should pay for it. My wife wanted her BM's to wear updo's so we paid Francesca to do all their hair and makeup. I know people can feel strongly about this from all kinds of angles, but we don't judge in the Vegas forum. :-)

I agree - If you want the BMs' hair done specifically a certain way or want they to have it professionally done, then you should pay for it. If not, then it is not required. The last wedding I was in, professional hair and make-up was available but not required, so I had it done, but I paid for it. Other BMs chose to do both their own hair and make-up (or one or the other).

On average from the place that I've contacted, around $200 seems the average number for both bridal hair/makeup, give or take $20.

So first I called Mandalay Bay (where I'm having my wedding) they wanted close to $700 for 3 hair and make-up's.. So I took your advice and called Glamsquad, the women on the phone was super nice and their price was $135 a person. Needless to say, I cancelled my appointment at Mandalay and booked Glamsquad

I paid for my hair and make up and my two sisters make up and it totaled to $215. It included false eyelashes, and airbrush (because they didnt have our foundation shade). I used Bella Brides
