1. Engagement and Wedding Ring – Grandma’s Things (5814 St. Augustine Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32207 Phone: 904-739-2075). Alan was very informative. The grade and clarity is par beyond any I have seen. I absolutely LOVE the look of vintage jewelry, but everything I was looking at was “vintage inspired.” I have an actual vintage ring (better quality too!). Highly Recommended
2. Wedding Dress – Linda Cunningham (1049 Kings Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32207 Phone: 904-399-4864). Linda has been extremely helpful, offering suggestions, while guiding me in the right direction to fit. She is sticking with my vision while working with my body and style.
3. Wedding Invitations – Things Very Special (5816 St. Augustine Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32207 Phone: 904-733-4820 http://www.theinvitationshop.net) I have ordered my Save-the-dates and Wedding Invitations from them. Lots of stock for bridal showers, Lots of books to look through. They are knowledgeable and extremely helpful! They work within your budget, and offers suggestions to save on your budget! Extremely Recommended
4. Cake – Edgewood Bakery (1012 Edgewood Avenue South, Jacksonville, Florida 32205 Phone: 904-389-8054). Great tasting, very very creative. Informed me of my choices and planned the right tasting to go with our tastes and colors. Sandy interviewed us for a few minutes then started sketching suddenly creating the look right then and there. Recommended.
5. Venue – Riverdale Inn/The Row (1521 Riverside Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32204 Phone: 904-354-5080). Extremely nasty and rude. They do not tailor to meet your needs and argue with you when you discover nothing was correct in their communications. We are thinking about cutting our losses and going somewhere else. Great location, just bad staff. and owners. Not Recommended
6. Photographer – Joseph D Michael Photography (http://www.josephdmichael.com). Fantastic engagement shoots at a fraction of a cost anyone has offered me. Very creative and loves to talk and laugh. Created a “hanging out” feel instead of a “photography session” Very hands on. Extremely Recommended.
