Wedding Color Dilemma????

We are looking to use navy and a rust/orange for our school-themed wedding.

Would it be bad to utilize red apples in any of our decor (particularly, centerpieces), since they may "clash" with our colors? Any ideas appreciated :)

    I'd say go for it.  Our colors are red and black but we're thinking about using lemons in our centerpieces.

    We met working in our school, both teachers. We love the simplicity of the school theme. Chalkboards, apples, photo booth that is staged like school picture day, guest book is a chalkboard that we will hang in our house....we fell in love with the idea! Thank you for your input!
