Highland Manor in Apopka

Has anybody gotten married here....or been to a wedding here? What did you think. I really love Cypress Grove Park, but they don't have my date available and are a little bit too expensive. So I was hoping this place would be a close second, b ut they don't have much on their website to go by.

    It is a beautiful location.  It's an awesome restaurant.  The lady who does weddings there is very nice. The ballroom is gorgeous, the picture ops would be great and the prices are reasonable.  It was on my top three and I didn't go there because my parents chose the venue which I am happy with but they just thought it was too far away for guests.  I have no idea what your budget is but i'm sure they might be willing to work with it.  Though I'm not getting married there, I think it's a beautiful location.  You should defnitely go out and take a look.

    That was the next place I was going to look at but we decided on the Lakeside Inn in Mount Dora. I drove past it on the way to visit Lakeside and it looked really pretty. It's kinda up on a hill which is cool :). I think you should definitely look into it further :).

    we considered it for our rehearsal dinner but we had a LOT of problems with communications so we eliminated them!

    Just FYI, Highland Manor is now open again and catered exclusively by Dubsdread.  They have a 3 year contract currently and are working to extend it.  For anyone concerned about the past tenants, Dubsdread is extremely highly regarded and has had an amazing presence in Orlando for decades.  We are getting married at the Highland Manor next June :0)
