Cake topper for cupcakes...?

Hello everyone! We are having cupcakes at our reception instead of a normal cake. I would like to buy something like a cake topper to put at the top of the cupcake tower. It would obviously have to stand on it's own, because it won't be going into the top of a cake. Any ideas/suggestions for me? TIA!

    Why not just have a mini-bouquet of the flowers you are having for your bouquets? It can be hand tied in a pretty ribbon that flows down, or you could have the flowers placed in floral foam and put that at the top.

    We're doing a cupcake tower too.  The baker is going to make 2 small round ones for the very top tier...one to cut and one to freeze.  the topper will go on that.  

    maybe that will work with your tower?

    I found my cake topper on Esty.  It is two figurine turtles basically.  They can stand on their own, and I will use them on our mantle after the wedding. :)

    We did cupcakes but had a small "regular" cake on the top tier.  We saved that one for our one year anniversary and just fed each other cupcakes for the photo op.  I found a cute monogram at Michaels that the bakery stuck into the top of the "regular" cake.  But like a PP said, you could do flowers.  I think that's a cute idea.

    There are lots of ideas and toppers on etsy.com! Also, you both can have a cupcake each and have one made as a bride and his made as a groom! I too am having cupcakes for my reception.  Such a good idea!

    We offer both a floral cake topper and monogrammed toppers.  Really nice keepsake, and affordable.

    my cousin just had them make a small cake to put at the top of the cupcake stand for my brothers birthday (the same day as her wedding)
