Accountability - Monday

Sorry girls, I was late on this one... 

Today I didn't work out at all, minus one thing that a friend of mine who is UBER into fitness suggested. How many of you girls have a long drive to work? Every so often grab the steering wheel and squeeze your stomach as tight as you can, hold it for a few seconds and let go... its like doing mini crunches in the car (and if you do enough of them you def feel it!!!)

    I went to kickboxing tonight.  proud of myself for going since I am still super sore from my hiking adventure.  I ate relatively well.... should have skipped the small piece of chocolate cake I had... but it was staring at me!! 
    I went to the doc today and I weighed in at like 7 lbs higher than what my scale at home is telling me.... so that number freaked me out and got my butt back in gear.

  • I'm trying to get on track from the weekend... Saturday night I went out to an italian restaurant for my splurge meal of the week...I'm determined to make it to the gym today!

  • saturday night i didn't go to the gym because that was our day off. i actually ended up eating not so great either (i went out with two of my BM's for breakfast because they were up here from st. louis for the weekend and then we went out with Dan's parents for dinner).

    sunday i ate normal and we went to the gym. i lifted with Dan (biceps and upper back) and i am STILL sore! then yesterday was back to a normal work routine, and went to the gym afterwards. i did some squats and lunges because i never do, and we are planning on going skiing in a few weeks so i figure i should build up some muscle first. i was sore before we even left the gym! i'm walking pretty funny today, haha.
    Happily married since 9/1/2012!

  • This week is going to be so bad for me, we have two more cake tastings and a florist appointment and because the appointments are right after work, we are doing fast food for dinner and I wont have time to get on the treadmill. Hopefully after this week we'll have the cake booked and then I can get back on track.

  • My "lady" showed up VERY early and I'm very happy about that.  It does explain my Mexican and cheeseburger cravings and wanting anything salty.  I'm happy that the scale didnt jump up as much as it usually does.  Yesterday was a good eating day.  FI and I shared a taco wrap for lunch and had cabbage soup for dinner.
  • This weekend was good for me.  We worked out both Saturday and Sunday and i ate pretty well both days too!  Mondays are payroll day and the busy day at work so I completely forgot about breakfast.  By the time lunch rolled around I inhaled my sandwich and got back to work.  We had meatloaf and roasted potatoes for dinner and I didn't snack much at all yesterday.  I'm feeling good.  Hopefully I'll get a work out in tonight since it's my only night to go straight home from work.
