How to pack my shoes?!?!

Hey girls

** My appologies in advance if this sounds like a very small issue / immature **

Okay I need some ideas...because I can't think of a good way of doing this...

I have a lot of shoes....how should I pack them so they can be moved / stored (just for a few weeks) before we get to our own place after marriage.

All ideas / suggestions are appreciated!!

    Large cardboard boxes/rubbermaid tubs.  Lay the shoes on their sides how you would put them in a shoe box to maximize space usage.  You can layer flat sheets of cardboard to make new layers of shoes if you really want to be organized about it.

    Thanks Mrs Khan...I'm gonna start collecting big cardboard boxes from work...good idea!

    What about the shoe boxes they are in right now?....Because I don't know how much room I'll have in the new place so I don't know if I want to lose the shoe boxes...

    I would put the shoe boxes in the cardboard boxes first and then start layering more shoes without shoe boxes above them. :)

    Okay I think that might work... I just have to get a few boxes

    I guess I'm just a little stressed b/c i think my room/house will be full of boxes and no room to walk :(

    Large cardboard boxes is great idea, but if you have some patent lather shiny shoes they can rub together and get ruined, so best to put them in some plastic bag before putting them in a cardbord box!

    Yea.. You may also want to stick a little stuffing in there to make sure you don't lose the shape depending on what kind of shoes they are. You may want to also look at shoe racks and stuff for your new place to save some room.

    Put the shoes in some shoe bags and keep each shoe separate so they don't scratch eachother. Then go for the boxes. You can get them at any aldo or retailer. Or go for plastic bags or dish towels.
