Rant: Overwhelmed with Rental stuff

I had a great time at the Seattle Wedding Show, and have come to the conclusion that I'm going to have to rent linens, silverware, plates, cups, etc because neither of my top two Caterers offer those services.

My venue provides the following:
  • 20 - 60 in round dining tables
  • 8 - 6ft banquet tables
  • 6 - 4ft banquet tables
  • 1- 40ft hexagon marquee top tent with French window curtains (available April 15th thru Oct 15th)
  • 300 - white poly/metal folding chairs
  • 50 - Green stackable garden chairs
  • 24 - White stackable garden chairs
  • 4 - Stainless steel patio heaters including propane
  • 3 - stainless steel coffee pots (100 cup, 60 cup, 50 cup)
  • 4 - Stainless steel chaffing dishes
  • 1 - Round 4 quart chaffing dish
  • 9 - 48 inch Metal Tables with Umbrellas
  • 4 - Tall Bistro Tables (30 in top x 47 in tall)
  • 10 - Sheppard's Hooks (42 in high)
  • 14 - Sheppard's Hooks (28 in high)
  • 20 - Antique Style Candle Lanterns for Table Centerpieces 11.5 in Tall w/ 4 in base
  • 1 - Large DCS Stainless steel BBQ (propane included)
  • An area for Catering prep and food warming is provided.
And now I'm trying to figure out exactly how many linens we need, and all of that kind of stuff.

Is there a calculator/planner online that could help me figure out this stuff?  I feel so dumb right now Undecided

I would give a call to Abbey, AA, ABC or Peterson's rentals and let them know your table sizes and quantities:
    20 - 60 in round dining tables8 - 6ft banquet tables6 - 4ft banquet tables4 - Tall Bistro Tables (30 in top x 47 in tall)

Along with your desired color. They can help you from there. Sounds like your tables with umbrellas will not need linens. Also, ask if the venue recommends a rental company. If so, give them a call, let them know the venue they're using and chances are they'll be familiar with the space and can help you out a little more.

Also, once you have your guest count, any of the above rental companies can give you a good estimate on how many plates/forks/glassware, etc. you'll need for a party of your size. Keep in mind that if you plan on serving more than beer and wine - you may then need martini glasses, champagne glasses, rocks, etc. Just give a call or wander down to their store. They're very helpful and can walk you through this.

    Good luck!
