how to set the wedding date?

I'm about to log off the knot and never come back - even with the instructions on how to set the wedding date, I can't find where to edit profile. Anyone have better instructions than the help page?

Do you mean in your profile or IRL?

Go to the right hand side of this page. Click on Update Profile.

Go to the top of that page. It says The Knot, The Nest, The Bump, Logout, My Account, and Make this my homepage.

Click on My Account. There you go.

I admit it took me a minute to figure it out too. TK is not the best at navigation.

on the profile page it doesn't even show a place to enter a wedding date in the About Your Wedding section of my profile.

on my checklist, I'm assuming the "pull-down menus on the right column" means add a reminder or add an event because the only thing in the right column is an advertisement. I added an event setting the correct date for The Big Day, and after updating, this is what it shows at the top of the page:

<h2><span>January 01, 0001</span><span class="bullets"> • </span><span>MARRIED: 733952 days</span></h2>

there is no place on the right that says update my profile. I went back to another page to go to My Account, because I've been there a million times, but again, there is no place for a wedding date in my settings. maybe something happened when I registered? I'll try re-registering I suppose. I'd contact someone who runs the site, but there is nobody to contact.

ohhhh, I was just playing around with settings, and it is very specific on how to set a date with same-sex weddings. thank you for trying to help. it looks like I have to tweak other settings to make the date-box appear.

I agree, I just went to My Account at the top to fhe page and after your info, and your groom's info, it says wedding date.

thanks all - I had to tweak the settings to get the wedding date to even appear as an option because my wedding is a same-sex wedding. that's the reason the date-box wasn't even showing up! it turns out I had been looking in the right place all along.
