I finally sat down in my wedding dress at the fitting yesterday! omg i was so scared i was gonna hear a big RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIP!....no thank god i didnt....it was however very uncomfortable to sit down....(oh boy)....ANYWAYS!.....since it is going to be outside at the fair i would like something to sit on...at first i thought about just buying some fabric but who is going to want to carry that around all day? anyone have any thoughts on this?

    Yeah I made sure I practiced sitting in my dress before I purchased it.  There were some I tried on that were SO uncomfortable.

    This is sort of difficult since you don't want to end up carrying something.  Could you still do the shawl or a small piece of fabric and work it out with someone else to carry it/fold it up/hide it for you?

    I forgot to try to sit down!! how could I forget that?? now with one month until the wedding I'm nervous. What style dress is yours? Mine is a fit and flare so I hope that has some move-ability.

    And I agree with PP ask your mom or bridesmaid to put a thin shawl in their purse and carry it for you
